VividQ Shortlisted for Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards
12th November 2020
This week, it was revealed that VividQ has been announced as a finalist in two categories in the 2020 Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards.
Beating out hundreds of entries, we are delighted to be in the shortlist for “Start-up of the Year” and “The One to Watch”, celebrating our extraordinary achievement and innovation in science and technology. Winners of each category will be announced at an award ceremony in early 2021.
Earlier this year, Co-founder and COO Aleksandra Pedraszewska gave an interview in the Cambridge Independent newspaper. In the interview, she shares VividQ’s rise to success from the University of Cambridge Photonics group in 2016, where our co-founders stumbled on a true scientific breakthrough in holography. As Aleksandra states in the article, “Holograms imitate how light behaves in the real world so the 3D projections that use them look very realistic.”
VividQ was also recently added to the Cofinitive #21toWatch 2020 shortlist. The campaign showcases homegrown innovation across Cambridge and the East of England.
