Product Manager

Cambridge UK
Role Description

Having established our products as a real and viable solution to a critical problem in the market, VividQ is now looking for a Product Manager who can work closely with the Product Owners in the technical team to build a well-defined and deliverable development roadmap; with the business development and sales team to capture and understand customer needs and use cases to support feature definition and planning; and to provide clear feature and product definition and associated collateral to support business development and allow us to confidently engage in profitable sales.

As a Product Manager at VividQ, you will:
  • Work with customers and partners to understand the specific needs and opportunities of complex whole-product solutions and represent them to the development team, creating space for technical compromise and optimisation
  • Ensure that development kits and SDKs for pilot projects are well defined and create the processes to ensure that they can be reliably tested and delivered
  • Create base collateral for the Marketing team, positioning product and system strengths against needs and use cases to clearly articulate solution benefits for market verticals
  • Work with Project Management, Product Owners, and the Chief Development Officer to assemble roadmap and project plans that deliver the maximum customer and business value within the available capacity
  • Work with Product Owners and Project Managers to clearly and accurately report progress, issues and corrective actions to the exec, and to support clear communication within the business
  • Support the bug Triage process, providing policy decisions to guide decision making by the Triage team, and advising on customer impact
  • Support and enable development of effective processes for project and product governance and design control
  • Work with Product Owners and Project Managers to drive the project Gate control process and to generate the required documentation
  • Work with Product Owners and the QA team to ensure that features are sufficiently well defined to enable effective testing with good coverage, and that customer use cases and scenarios are clear
